New Sanxingdui discoveries essential for knowledge of history: Italian archaeologist

The new archaeological discoveries at the Sanxingdui Ruins site in southwest China's Sichuan Province are "a very important and essential part for the knowledge of the history of humanity," Italian archaeologist Giuliano Volpe has told Xinhua.
